A Breezy Evening to Serve

The helpful volunteers from the Salt Lake Butler Stake and the Salt  Lake South Cottonwood Stake along with the dedicated service  missionaries were busy this evening.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, peppers, salad turnips, tomatoes, carrots, acorn squash were harvested. The carrot beds had  additional soil added.  The old greenhouse is in the process  of being prepared  to  be demolished.  The corn crops were sprayed.  Squash insects were removed from the zucchini and summer squash growboxes.   Weeding occurred in the field.

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an accumulation of 6,772 lbs of produce to date.
