Winterizing Continues

The helpful volunteers from the Sandy Utah Crescent Stake and the Murray Utah YSA Stake along with the  dedicated service missionaries were busy this morning.

The carrots were covered for the season. The remaining frozen tomato crops were removed.  The tomato cages  were  stacked and stored for the winter.  The remaining weed clothes from the field and growboxes were removed.  The sprinkler misters and sprinkler lines were removed for the winter.

The  Sandy  Utah  Crops  has  provided  the  Bishop's  Storehouse  with  an  accumulation  of  41,324 lbs  of  healthy  produce  and  the  Utah  Food  Bank  with  an  accumulation  of  3,148  lbs  of  healthy  produce  to  date.
