A Brisk Evening to Serve

The faithful volunteers from the South Cottonwood Stake and the Sandy Utah Mount Jordan Stake assisted the dedicated service missionaries this evening.

Various types of winter squash, green  bell peppers, zucchini, crookneck  squash, cantaloupe, zephyr  squash, tomatoes were harvested.  After two successive nights of freezing weather, most crops were frozen.  Several field weedclothes were removed for the winter.

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an accumulation of 36,258 lbs of healthy  produce and the Utah Food Bank with an accumulation of 2,873 lbs of healthy  produce.
