An Extremely Productive Morning

The helpful volunteers from the Salt Lake Cottonwood Heights Stake and the West Utah Hertitage Stake assisted the dedicated service missionaries this morning.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, beets, peppers, carrots and lettuce were harvested.  The emerging squash bug infestation in the  field was eliminated by carefully removing the infected leaves and disposing of them. Weeding occurred in the field.

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an accumulated 1,225 lbs of healthy, grown-to organic-standards produce to date.
