Harvesting and Weeding Continues

The helpful volunteers from the Draper Utah Eastridge Stake and the Sandy Utah Granite South Stake along with the dedicated service missionaries were busy this evening.

Zucchini, crookneck squash, zephyr squash, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes and celery were harvested.  Parts of the field was fertilized. Weeding occurred in the field.

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an  accumulation of 3,512 lbs of produce to date.

The Field is Ripe for the Harvest

The helpful  volunteers from the Sandy Utah Midvalley Stake and the Salt Lake Wasatch Stake along with  the faithful service missionaries were busy this evening.

Zucchini, various types of squash, cucumbers, celery, various types of   peppers, various types of lettuce and carrots were harvested.  Weeding occurred in the field. Squash insects were removed.  The carrot beds were weeded. 

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an accumulation of 3,068 lbs of healthy produce to date.

Many Hardworking Volunteers

The  helpful volunteers from  the Sandy Utah YSA Stake and the  Sandy Utah Crescent North Stake along with the dedicated service  missionaries were busy this morning.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, celery, and peppers were harvested.  Weeding occurred in the field.  Carrots in the  growbox  were weeded. 

The  Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an accumulation of 2,800 lbs of healthy produce to date.

An Extremely Hot Evening

The helpful volunteers from the Salt Lake Wasatch Stake and the Sandy Utah Midvalley Stake and the dedicated service missionaries  were busy this evening.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers and celery were harvested. Misters and a cover was installed on the new carrot crop growbox. The rows of corn were weeded.  The trim on the temporary greenhouse was painted.  The field was weeded.

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an  accumulation of  2,235 lbs of healthy produce to date.

Rise and Shine! The Produce is Calling

The helpful volunteers from the Sandy Utah Crescent North Stake and the Draper Utah YSA and the dedicated service missionaries were busy this morning.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, celery, beets and green peppers were harvested.  Beets, turnips and carrots were planted.  The  trim on the temporary greenhouse was painted. The  persistant squash bugs were removed.

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an  accumulation of 1,978 lbs of healthy produce to date.

The Plants are Thriving

The faithful volunteers from the Sandy Utah Granite Stake and the Sandy Utah Crescent South Stake and the dedicated service missionaries were busy this evening.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, spaghetti squash, cauliflower, celery   were harvested.  The field was weeded. The various squash and melons crops were fertilized.  Additional carrots were planted in a growbox.  The tomatoes were tied up to the frames. The  carrots were weeded. 

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an accumulation of 1,827 lbs and the Utah Food Bank 79 lbs of produce grown to organic standards to date.

The helpful  volunteers  from  the Sandy Utah Central Stake  and  the Salt Lake Cottonwood Creek Stake and the  dedicated  service  missionaries  were  busy  this  evening.

An Extremely Productive Morning

The helpful volunteers from the Salt Lake Cottonwood Heights Stake and the West Utah Hertitage Stake assisted the dedicated service missionaries this morning.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, beets, peppers, carrots and lettuce were harvested.  The emerging squash bug infestation in the  field was eliminated by carefully removing the infected leaves and disposing of them. Weeding occurred in the field. 

The Sandy Utah Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with an accumulated 1,225 lbs of healthy, grown-to organic-standards produce to date.

Production is in Full Swing

The dedicated volunteers from the Sandy Utah Hillcrest Stake and the Sandy Utah Crescent Ridge Stake and the  faithful service missionaries were  busy this evening.

Zucchini, summer squash, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers and carrots were harvested.  Corn was planted in the field.  Weeding occurred in the field.  Carrots were weeded. 

The Sandy Vegetable Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with 906 lbs of produce to date.

A Beautiful Morning to Serve

The helpful volunteers from the Sandy Utah Willow Creek Stake and the Sandy Utah Crescent Stake along with the dedicated service missionaries were busy this morning.

Zucchini, crookneck squash, zephyr squash, green onions, lettuce  and cucumbers were harvested.  Cantaloupe and carrots were planted.  Tomatoes were tied up to the poles.  Growboxes were prepared for future planting.  Weeding occurred in the growboxes and field.

The Sandy Vegetable Crops has provided the Bishop's Storehouse with 828 lbs of produce to date.
