The First Lettuce Harvest of the Season

The helpful volunteers from the Sandy Utah Canyon View Stake, the Sandy Utah West Stake and the Cottonwood Heights Utah Brighton

Sweet bell peppers and tomotoes were transplanted. Weeding occurred in and in between the growboxes. The forms from the drainage pipe in the field were removed. The corn rows were prepared for planting.  The transplant trays were washed and sanitized.

The first harvest of the season was red leaf lettuce and romaine  lettuce!  Healthy lettuce grown to organic standards will be delivered to the Bishop's Storehouse this evening.
