Update on the Killdeer Eggs

The breeding pair of killdeer laid four eggs.  The first egg was dropped during an unsuccessful attempt to relocate  the  nest.  The second egg disappered and the  consensus is that it was eaten by a predator.  The third egg  hatched, but the chick disappered after two days. The fourth egg is all that remains.
