Update on the Killdeer Eggs

The breeding pair of killdeer laid four eggs.  The first egg was dropped during an unsuccessful attempt to relocate  the  nest.  The second egg disappered and the  consensus is that it was eaten by a predator.  The third egg  hatched, but the chick disappered after two days. The Cycle of Life Begins

A breeding pair of killdeer have chosen grow box # 64 to build a nest and lay four eggs. There are two eggs remaining. One egg was dropped when the nest was moved during an unsuccessful attempt to relocate it. The second egg disappeared.  Speculation is that a predidor snatched the egg.

Sunny Tuesday

The dedicated volunteers from the Sandy Utah Cottonwood Creek  Stake and the Sandy Utah Willow Creek Stake laid and secured the weed cloth for the squash, removed rocks from the field, weeded between grow boxes.
