Families on the farm

It is nice to see a family working together at the stake farm

These are some of our decatted volunteers

All are welcom to come and help at the farm

We are open

Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 P.M. till 7:30 P.M

Saturday 9:00 AM til 10:30 P.M.

The Farm is located at 9905 S. Poppy Lane Dr (905 East) in Sandy! behind the LDS Sandy Iinstitute

About Us

The Sandy Vegetable Project was started in 1978 by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a church welfare farm. The vegetables grown at this farm are sent to the Bishop's Storehouse in Sandy, UT, or to the Utah Food Bank. There are 20+ volunteer service-missionaries called to work at the farm each harvest season from spring until fall. The missionaries oversee the many volunteers who come from 44 stakes around the valley to help with the work. During the 2017 season, more than 42,000 pounds of vegetables were harvested at the farm for the bishop's storehouse.
