Many Hands Make Light Work

Hardworking and faithful volunteers from Sandy Utah East Stake and the Sandy Utah Lone Peak Stake assisted missionaries with harvesting summer squash, securing weed cloth in the field and  weeding between the grow boxes.  The volunteers also assisted with  planting pumpkins and melons.

A Productive Evening

Faithful and hardworking volunteers from the Salt Lake Cottonwood Stake and the Salt Lake Butler West Stake harvested green cabbage, purple cabbage, zephyr squash, crookneck squash, zucchini, broccoli and cauliflower. Volunteers fertilized the corn and secured weed cloth in the field. The weather was overcast with a breeze.
Although the temperature was in the upper 90's with noticeable  humidity, it felt much cooler than that. We appreciate our dedicated  volunteers.

Planting and Weed Block

Many helpful volunteers from the Salt Lake Brighton Stake and the  Salt Lake Granite View Stake assisted in securing the weed cloth in  the field and added grommets to the weed cloth.
Missionaries and volunteers planted additional carrots.
Missionaries and volunteers planted additional cauliflower, three types  of lettuce and broccoli. They also learned how to transplant tomatoes. We look forward to harvesting the crops.

Another Ideal Evening to Volunteer

Hardworking  and dedicated volunteers from the Sandy Utah Alta View Stake and the Sandy Utah Midvalley Stake harvested  two kinds of lettuce, cabbge and carrots. The missionaries and volunteers planted spaghetti squash and weeding between the grow boxes.

A Peaceful Morning

Many helpful and dedicated volunteers from the Sandy Utah YSA and the Murray Utah YSA served today. They secured weed cloth in the field and weeded between the grow boxes. They also helped plant spaghetti squash and transplant marigolds. The service missionaries working in the greenhouse planted pumpkin seeds. Today was a great day to volunteer. The sky was overcast with a slight breeze and the temperature was in the 70's .

A Beautiful Summer Evening to Volunteer

Many helpful and hardworking volunteers from the Sandy Utah Cottonwood Creek Stake and the Sandy Utah West Stake harvested lettuce, radishes and broccoli, removed the remaining broccoli which has gone to seed, secured weed cloth in the field and weeded between the grow boxes.
The service missionaries in the greenhouse planted watermelon and squash.
Wonderful things are happening at the farm.
